Maybe you still feel that you’re not quite good enough to serve God. Not quite strong enough, not quite old enough…fill in the blank. It might surprise you, but God often uses those of us who just aren’t enough. He wants us to remember that it is His power working through us, and not our own strength, that gets things done.
Check out this quote by Hudson Taylor, a missionary to China who was able to share the gospel with thousands. Though we would think he definitely had some bragging rights for all of the work he did, listen to what he said.
“God chose me because I was weak enough. God does not do His great works by large committees. He trains somebody to be quiet enough, and little enough, and then He uses him.”
